Boys: Picayune 65 NW Rankin 59
Picayune led 37-31 at the half and 52-39 after three quarters.
Coach Daniel Kennedy said he was happy with the win overall.
"We played great defense in the 2nd and 3rd quarters, but did not in
the 1st or 4th quarters. Holding them to 10 points in the 2nd and 8 in
the third was a great effort, but we have got to be more consistent
throughout the whole game instead of playing in spurts."
Chris Dees tallied 25 points while Brandon Fortenberry and David
McClain added 17 and 10 points respectively for Picayune,
now 24-3 on the season.
