The Lady Tide suffered a third loss falling to Gulfport 64-51. Monique Brown scored 15, Arianna McGill 12, Karly Moran 8,

"The girls gave a great effort tonight.  In spite of missing twenty free throws, I am very proud of the way the girls played in our

three games of this tournament.  Obviously, the teams we competed against are very talented. I knew it would be a tough way to

start but I also knew that we needed to play very competitive teams early to see our weaknesses."

"We did a much better job of boxing out tonight and not giving up second and third chance opportunities. Gulfport was just a half

step or two quicker than we were.Our goal is to improve everyday and prepare for the district games."

Saturday's games (Boys & Girls) are cancelled.  Picayune's next game will be at Laurel on Tuesday.
