Boys:  Picayune 69   Oak Grove 49

After a sluggish first half performance, the Tide rallied in the second half to pull away from Oak Grove

at Picayune.   Oak Grove led 25-23 at the break, but the Tide outscored the Warriors 15-8 in the 3rd

quarter and behind the play of Tony Foster and Radale Brumfield coasted to a 69-49 win.  The win moves

the Tide to 10-4 overall, 3-0 in Division 5-5A play.  Oak Grove falls to 5-6 overall, 0-2 in Division play.

Brumfield finished with a career high 31 points with five 3-pointers and had 14 points from the charity

stripe as Oak Grove fouled him continuously down the stretch.  Tony Foster came off the bench to 7 points,

but more importantly drew three crucial charging calls against the Warriors.   Donaires Hair got in foul

trouble early, but managed to finish with 12 points, 10 coming in the second half.

Rick Flowers led Oak Grove with 19 points and Channing Cohen had 13 points including three 3-pointers.

The Lady Tide jumped out early and coasted the rest of the way.  The win moves their record to 9-4 overall

and 2-1 in Division play.
