A Letter from Maroon Tide's Tom Taylor (Click Here) Vince Gable signs with PRCC Wildcats Vincent Gable, a 5-8 guard, signed to play with reigning MACJC state champion, Pearl River Community College. Gable, who was the MVP in Division 6 - 5A, averaged 18.5 pts, 4.1 assists per game, and 2 steals per game. Submitted photo
Coach Tom Taylor, Vince Gable, & PRCC Asst Coach Jason Francis Division 6-5A Girls awards: Picayune's Mel McGill, Keanna Magee, & Sharonda Jackson were named to the 1st team. Arianna McGill & Tee Myers made Honorable Mention. Andrea Jackson was named the Best Offensive Player for the Division. Coach Jason Kennedy was named Coach of the Year. Division 6-5A Boys awards: Picayune's Justin Mark, Marcus Rawls, and Derionne Stewart were named to the 1st team. Scottie Merrill made Honorable Mention.Vincent Gable was named Most Valuable Player for the Division & Marvin Richmond was named Best Defensive Player.
