Maroon Tide Begins Fall Drills

The Picayune Maroon Tide got their fall workouts underway with a morning practice amid muggy conditions.

Head Coach Dodd Lee and his staff had around 70 players on hand for the first day.

A 'Meet the Tide" night is scheduled for August 18th at Picayune Stadium.

The Maroon Tide will see its first action on August 19th in a Jamboree at USM's Roberts Stadium as they

tangle with two 5A juggernauts taking on the Hattiesburg Tigers and the defending South State 5A Champion

Ocean Springs Greyhounds. 

Picayune's first game will get no easier as the Moss Point Tigers come calling on the Maroon Tide in the

August 26th lid-lifter at Picayune Stadium.
