Lady Tide completes sweep of H'burg 11-1

Pitchers Kasey Mitchell and Katie Hebert combined for 10 strikeouts

as the Lady Tide improved to 4-2 on the season

defeating Hattiesburg 11-1 in the Tide's home opener. Kellye Bolar and

Hebert lead all hitters with two each. Bolar  singled and tripled with two

runs and a RBI while Hebert went 2-2 at the plate with a sac fly and

4 RBI. Courtney Dickens,

Cassie Rabion and Katie Kent added to the the score with one hit each.



The Lady Tide open district play Thursday when they travel to Long Beach.
