Poplarville takes advantage
of Lady Tide errors in 7-2 win

Poplarville--Katie Hebert struck out 10 Poplarville batters and
allowed only two hits,, but the Lady Tide defense committed 8 errors
allowing 7 unearned runs and dropped a 7-2 decision on the road
at Poplarville.
Picayune's two runs came in the 2nd as Hillary Dickens reached on
an error and moved to second on a sacrifice bunt from Katie Kent.
Dickens scored after two passed balls allowed her to take third base
and eventually home plate.
Tiffany Reed scored in the 4th when she singled, stole second, moved
to third on a hit from Brandi Rabion. Reed scored when Poplarville
attempted to throw out Rabion stealing
second base.
Picayune will travel to Stone County for a non division game tonight
and will return to Division action
Monday against Pearl River Central.
