Lady Tide splits games with Biloxi

The Picayune Lady Tide Softball team split a doubleheader at Biloxi on Saturday.

Freshman pitcher Katie Hebert fanned 17 batters in 7 complete innings as the

Lady Tide won game one of a double header against Biloxi. Biloxi marked first

as the leadoff batter reached on error and scored on a passed ball in the first.

The Tide marked in the fourth as Tiffany Reed leads off with a single and advances

to second on a sac bunt by Katie Kent and scores on a basehit from Brandi Rabion.

The Lady Tide added what turned out to be the winning run in the sixth as Reed

singles and scores on a double from Katie Kent.

The Lady Tide left 7 runners on the bags as they fell 1-0 to Biloxi in game 2. Katie

Hebert fanned 10 batters walked 2 and had two reach on defensive errors as she

suffers the loss on the mound.
