The Picayune Lady Maroon Tide suffered a tough loss Thursday night on the diamond

as the Oak Grove Lady Warriors managed five hits to score 10 runs to defeat Picayune.

A message from Coach:

"I can not say enough about the 13 young ladies who comprise the Lady Tide softball team.

Throughout the adversity of the season they have remained strong, confident and carried

tremendous attitudes on the field. They have given me 100 percent as players and have

given their all to each as teammates. Whether the outcome of the game is a win or a loss,

I am able to find many positives. Young leaders have stepped up, character has been built

and the true athlete in each of them has emerged. This is a talented group of young ladies

who will have to be reckoned with in future seasons. If you have yet to see them play, you

are missing a treat."
