Pride of the Tide competes in State Competition

The Pride of the Tide dance team competed in the American All-Star State Competition on Saturday, February 10th, and received

the following awards:

• 1st place in the Pom catagory
• 2nd place in the kick catagory
• 2nd place in the Prop catagory
• 3rd place in the officer division

Alex Parker placed 3rd in the Solo division.

The team also received 2 choreography awards for both their pom and kick dances, which are given to the teams receiving the highest

scores of the day in the chorography element of competition.
