NJROTC takes 1st place at Slidell Spring Drill Meet

Picayune's NJROTC competed on Saturday, March 18 th , at the annual Slidell High School "Spring Drill Meet".

Competing against 15 Army, Navy, Marine, and Air Force teams, Picayune pulled out first place wins in:

• personnel inspection
• color guard
• unarmed basic drill
• unarmed exhibition drill

Picayune took second place in armed exhibition drill.

In addition, an individual 2nd place medal was brought home by Cadet Devin Wilson--by beating out 78 other

runners in the 800 meter run.

Led by commanding officer, Cadet Lieutenant Commander Prevot, Picayune's NJROTc teams dominated the

meet, and pulled out a first place overall finish.
