NJROTC Competes in Area 8 Regional Meet

On Saturday, February 25th, Picayune's NJROTC team competed at the annual Area 8 Regional

Field Meet at Southern University in Baton Rouge.

Competing in a field of 16 teams from four states, Picayune's NJROTC team, which has been

undefeated for the past five years, brought home the following:

• 1st place in Personnel Inspection

• 1st place in Color Guard

• 1st place in Armed Regulation

• 3rd place in Unarmed Basic Drill

Picayune finished the meet winning 2nd place overall.

Individual medal winners were:

• Jordan Kiser (2nd in Male Sit Ups)

• Kayla Johnson (3rd in Female Sit Ups)
