NJROTC helps with Veterans' Day activities

Chief Mark Thorman organized the Veterans' Day Parade to honor all the veterans in our community. Each cadet

had a feeling of pride marching to honor the veterans. The parade was complete with an all service color guard and

armed and two unarmed platoons along with vehicles filled with veterans, and people currently enlisted.

The Picayune NJROTC also performed at West Side Elementary's grandparents'/ Veterans' Day program on

Friday. The NJROTC cadets helped out by performing a color guard and also by having cadets display the flag

of each service as their hymn was played.
