Picayune sweeps Pearl River Central

Lady Tide 4  Pearl River Central 1

The tension was high as the Lady Tide took on rival PRC

in their first division game. The Lady Tide struck first with a

goal from freshman Ana Lee to put the Tide up 1-0. The next

score came from Picayune on a goal from Breeana

Fortenberry on an assist by Lee.

The Tide would not be denied. Lee added another goal

on an assist from Fortenberry to lead at half time by a

score of 3-0. PRC fought their way back by scoring on

a penalty kick to make the score 3-1.

The Lady Tide finally put the game way in the second half

with Lee adding another goal for the hat trick. 

Due to a schedule change the Lady Tide will take on Pearl

River, LA, Thursday at the Tide field with the next division

game against Bay High Friday at Tide field as well.
