Joe "Spinners" Burrage's Hat Trick Gives Picayune Split

Boys: Picayune 6 Hattiesburg 0

The Maroon Tide took a big step towards the post season with a 6-0 win over
a fast, but young Hattiesburg team.

Joe "Spinners" Burrage opened the scoring in the 4th minute with his first of
three goals assisted by Britton Fortenberry. Two minutes later Garrett Williams
scored assisted by Ryan Campbell.

Franco Martinez scored in the 14th minute with the assist again going to Fortenberry.

Burrage scored in the 20th minute assisted by Franco Martinez make it 4-0 at the half.

Joe Burrage opened the second half scoring and completed the hat trick in the 62nd
minute on another assist from Fortenberry.

Play-maker, Britton Fortenberry, finally got a goal of his own in the 66th minute.



Girls: Hattiesburg 4 Picayune 2

Breeana Fortenberry had both Tide goals. Coach Hughes wasn't happy with the loss,
but was pleased with the way her very young team played.

The Tide and Lady Tide next take on Pope John Paul in Slidell on Friday night.
