Lady Tide holds annual Slow Pitch banquet

The Picayune Lady Tide held their annual banquet to recognize both players and supporters. The banquet was held at the Senior
Center located just behind Wal Mart on El Patch Parkway.
Coach Kristi Mitchell recognized John Young for his help providing frame by frame photos to allow the Lady Tide to correct their
hitting.

Young presented Mitchell a picture of her swing from the recent alumni game.

David Windham (center), public address announcer for the Lady Tide, was recognized for his efforts.

Robert Puyper, who Mitchell stated "is by far the most dedicated fan of all Maroon Tide sports" was
recognized for his efforts.

Each team member was presented a long sleeve pullover shirt. Natalie Guy, the lone senior on this year's
squad, received her lettermen's jacket and a plague acknowledging her leadership to the Maroon Tide program.

Individual award winners were: Highest batting average: Amanda Green; Most Runs Batted In: Tiffany Reed;
Most Runs Scored: Jessica Rancifer; Highest On Base Percentage: Hillary Dickens. Dickens also had the
Highest Fielding Percentage.
