Picayune 5 St. Patrick 4

St. Patrick took an early lead over the Lady Tide as they

scored 4 runs in the first inning.  The Lady Tide scored

their first run in the third when Jessica Rancifer led off the

inning  with a double and scored on a single by Danielle

Bossier.  After a scoreless fourth inning, the Tide marked

again as Taylor Seals hit a sharp single to left, and was

followed by Jessica Rancifer and Danielle Bossier who

both walked.  Taylor Seals scored on a hit from Natalie

Guy that fell safely after an error on the second baseman. 

Following an out, pinch runner Tiffany Devore running for

Bossier scored on a hit from Mallorie Mixon.  Hillary Dickens,

Tiffany Reed and Amanda Green all singled to load the bags

in the 6th.  With one out and the bags loaded pinch runner

Brooke Meitzler, for Dickens, scored on a single from Seals. 

Reed scored on a fielders choice from Rancifer to put the

Tide ahead on top 5-4.  A quick 3 up 3 down finished the game. 

Picayune 7 Vancleave 2

The Tide gave up two runs in the second game and scored 7

to push their record to 2-0 on the season.  The Tide scored two

in the 3rd as Nastassia Poole, pinch running for Natalie Guy

who drew a walk, and Millie Gill both scored on a double from

Mallorie Mixon.  Katie Kent and Taylor Seals walked to start the

fourth.  Kent scored on a single from Rancifer who along with

Seals moved up a base on an attempted throw home.  Seals

then tagged and scored from third on a caught ball by the

catcher.  The Tide added one more run in the 7th as Millie Gill

doubled and then eventually scored on a sac fly from Dickens.
