Lady Tide blanks Vancleave 5-0

BILOXI--With the first effects breezy winds from Tropical Storm Fay being felt in Biloxi, the Lady Tide created a small
disturbance of their own in shutting out the Vancleave Lady Bulldogs 5-0 at the Biloxi Invitational Tournament at the Biloxi
Recreation Center.
The Lady Tide jumped out to a 2-0 lead in the top of the first when senior Tiffany Reed drove in Brandi Rabion and Taylor Seals
who reached on Vancleave miscues.

Tiffany Reed drove in three of the five runs for the Lady Tide in their 5-0 over Vancleave.
Picayune added three runs in the sixth. Junior Taylor Seals blasted a triple over the center fielder's head.
Reed singled to plate Seals. Senior Katie Kent tripled to score Reed and Kent scored on senior Mallorie
Mixon's sacrifice fly to make it 5-0.
Sarah Dodd continued her stinginess in the circle as she threw another shutout. On Tuesday, she
blanked Columbia.

Picayune's second game of the evening against St Patrick's was cancelled.
Weather permitting, the Lady Tide is scheduled to play George County at 10:30am and East
Central at 12:00 noon at the Biloxi Recreation Center.
