Lady Tide trips up Biloxi 7-2

Picayune--Hillary Dickens banged out four hits and drove in two runs and teammates Katie Kent and Brandi Rabion had three

hits each in leading the Lady Tide over Biloxi 7-2.

Biloxi got their lone runs in the top of the first, but the Lady Tide rallied for three in the home half of the inning . Tiffany Devore

and Brandi Rabion singled. Hillary Dickens doubled to left scoring Devore. After a flyout, Tiffany Reed singled to plate Rabion.

Katie Kent singled to drive in Dickens for a 3-2 lead.

Brooke Meitzler walked and eventually scored on a Dickens single in the second for a 4-2 advantage.

In the bottom of the fifth, Meitzler singled with the bases loaded to drive in Kent . The Lady Tide added two runs in the sixth

on a bases-loaded walk to Reed and a sacrifice fly by Kent.

Sarah Dodd went the distance in the circle and kept the Lady Tribe from Biloxi off stride. Dodd received solid defensive play

from Devore at short, Reed at third, and Taylor Seals in left center.

Picayune (4-2) will host Columbia on Thursday and play at Biloxi' s Tournament on Friday and Saturday.
