Picayune pounds Purvis 16-1

Picayune- The Lady Tide scored early and often in putting away the Purvis Lady Tornadoes 16-1 at the Lady Tide Softball

Complex. The win was the sixth in a row for the Lady Tide, now 9-2 on the season.

Picayune got five runs in the bottom of the first on hits by Katie Kent, Hillary Dickens (rbi), Taylor Seals (rbi), Brooke

Meitzler (rbi), and Sarah Dodd (rbi).   Millie Gill had a bases-loaded walk to help build a 5-0 lead. 

The Lady Tide added two more runs in the second before putting the game away with seven runs in the third. Seals, Tiffany

Reed, and Meitzler each had doubles driving two runs each.

Picayune will not play again until September 6th at Petal.
