Picayune-- The Lady Tide defense played solid behind their pitcher Sarah Dodd as the Lady Tide shut out West Harrison 10-0

in five innings.  With the win, Picayune secures a playoff spot.

Picayune jumped out to a 2-0 lead as Hillary Dickens and Amanda Green both scored on a two out double from Brooke Ladner.

Hillary Dickens scored again in the 3rd when Amanda Green plated her with a triple.   Sarah Dodd singled to score Green to make

it 4-0.

The Lady Tide pushed across 6 runs in the bottom of the fifth to end the game.  With one out, Brandi Rabion, Dickens and Green

each singled to load the bases.   Dodd singled to score Rabion and Jessica Rancifer followed with a single to score Dickens.

Taylor Seals doubled to left field to score Green and pinch runner Bailey Strickland who was running for Dodd.   Millie Gill's

single scored Rancifer and pinch-hitter Jennifer Walker singled to plate Seals to end the game.

The Lady Tide will play D'Iberville on Monday at D'Iberville to possibly decide the district championship and playoff seeding for the

first and second seeds.  The Warriors fell to Long Beach on Tuesday by a 1-0 score and puts both Long Beach and D'Iberville

with 2 losses each.  Long Beach has a game left with West Harrison.   Picayune's only loss in district was to Long Beach by 4 runs,

however, Picayune has the tie-breaker advantage with a 5-0 win over Long Beach.
