Gulfport--Pitcher Sarah Dodd not only pitched the shut out win, but helped her own cause offensively by going 4-4 at the

plate with 5 RBIs.  The Lady Tide defense committed just one error and allowed only 5 runners to reach 1st base. 

The Lady Tide offense marked in each inning to defeat West Harrison 13-0 in a district win.  The win improves Picayune

to 10-4 overall and 2-1 in district.  Jessica Rancifer was 4 for 4 and Amanda Green was 3 for 3 at the plate for the Lady Tide.

The Lady Tide will be at home on Thursday hosting Long Beach in a key district game.  JV action starts at 6:00pm with the

Varsity game set for approximately 7:00pm at the Lady Tide Softball Complex.
