The Lady Tide took an early lead in the bottom of the 2nd by scoring 3 runs on 6 hits.

Jessica Rancifer, Tiffany DeVore, Brooke Ladner, Sarah Dodd, Amanda Green and

Millie Gill all contributed to the hitting.

D'Iberville tacked one run on in the 5th, but the Tide answered back in the bottom

of the inning as Rancifer led off with a single and scored on a two out double from

Hillary Dickens.  D'Iberville then scratched out two runs in the 6th with the help

of the Lady Tide gloves and some timely hitting and tied the game in the 7th at 4-4. 

The fans then got their monies worth as both teams buckled down on defense and

the game became a battle of wills through 11 innings.  The Tide wins it in the

11th inning as Sarah Dodd leads off with a single but is forced out at 2nd on a

fielders choice from Amanda Green.  Millie Gill then singles to place runners

at first and second.  Nastassia Poole hits into a fielders choice that forces

Green out at third base, but an errant throw to first by D'Iberville allows the

runners to advance one base putting Gill on third and Poole at second base with

two outs.  Jessica Rancifer singled to score Gill for the winning run.
