Lady Tide wins two more; win streak now at 6 games

Biloxi-- The Picayune Lady Tide extended their winning streak to six (6) games sweeping a doubleheader at the Biloxi

Invitational Tournament at the Biloxi Recreation Complex.  The wins put the Lady Tide at 7-3 on the season.  The Lady

Tide will play their next game on Thursday hosting Petal.  The JV game starts at 6:00pm and Varsity follows at 7:00pm

at the Lady Tide complex off Union Road.

Picayune 9 George Co. 3

The Lady Tide marked in every inning but one in defeatin George County.  The Lady Tide took advantage of 11 walks and

used timely hitting to win.  Brandi Rabion, Taylor Seals and Brooke Ladner each had two hits.

Picayune 11 East Central 1

The Tide scored 6 runs in the top of the first to jump ahead of the East Central Hornets.  Jessica Rancifer leads off the inning

with an inside the park home run.  Tiffany DeVore, Hillary Dickens and Brandi Rabion all singled to load the bags and all came

around to score on a triple off the bat of Taylor Seals.  Seals scored on an RBI single from Brooke Ladner.  Sarah Dodd doubled

and scored on a hit from Nastassia Poole. 

With two outs in the top of  second inning, Dickens singled and scored on a double by Rabion.   The Lady Tide added 4 runs

in the 5th when Rabion singled and scored on a monster inside the park home run by Seals.   Brooke Ladner and Green both

singled and scored on singles by Sharonda Jackson and Millie Gill.
