Sept 9 vs Hancock

The Maroon Tide Boys and Girls Swim teams once again came out

victorious in Tuesdays swim meet against the Hancock Hawks.

The Girls won by a score of 51 to 37, and the boys team won more

convincingly by a score of 66 to 27. Nick Riso, Blake Rutherford,

Andrew Smith, and Bryce Warden captured six of the eight possible

1st places plus won all 3 relays to lead the boys to victory. While Erin

Moran, Lauren Moran, Jessica Sentilles, and DaNelle Williams

captured 5 of the eight possible 1st places and won 2 of the three relays

to lead the Girls team. New State Qualifiers for the Tide include Joshua

Guidry, Nicoli Huthcison, Andrew Smith, Zackary Hollyfield, and

Lauren Moran. After this meet the Tide swim team has 14 Tide

swimmers qualified for State meet in 36 events. Jamie Coole, Paige

Braddy, and Terry Lawrence won the most improved for this meet

by cutting a combined total of 34 seconds on their respective races.
