Maroon Tide Splits with Biloxi

The Maroon Tide Boys' swim team remained undefeated after their meet against Biloxi winning 59 to 34 , while the Girls were

handed their first defeat by a score of 57 to 37.

As they have done all year, the Boys won 6 of the 8 events swam not giving their opponent a chance to win events.

Leading the way for the Tide boys was Jared Bates, Josh Guidry, Nick Riso,Blake Rutherford, Dylon Smith, Bryce Warden,

and Donald Williams.

The Girls team had a heart breaking first loss of the season, but did not go down without a fight.  Leading the Girls' team was

Emily Ladner, Alyssa Seal, Jessica Sentilles, Erin Moran, Lauren Moran, Samantha Thrasher, and DoNelle Williams.

The Maroon Tide swim team has 17 athletes qualifying in 51 State events. With all the schools that the Tide swim team have

swam against this season have been 5A schools it is a huge accomplishment to be where they are right now. New swimmers'

that made their state times were Alyssa Seal, and Jay Dawg Dedeaux.

The next home meet will be October 7th with PRC please come out and support our Team.
